For nearly three years, Alicia taught kindergarten at an international school in Japan, expanding her knowledge of curriculum planning and devising new, engaging ways for children to learn in varying cultural settings. As a seasoned educator and mom of four, Alicia has explored several types of learning materials yet struggled to find inclusive materials. 

Alicia refused to accept this struggle. Acquiring inclusive educational materials is an immediate need for families across the world, and in response to the gaping disparities, Alicia created Inspirus. Inspirus offers diverse educational resources for parents and children, including fun freebies and a selection of books for budding and avid readers. ​

Alicia's passion for writing runs deep. She believes the children of today are the leaders of tomorrow and it is our responsibility to mold who they will become and nurture who they are destined to be. Her goal is to open up the world to children, one book at a time

Alicia Kennedy earned her master's degree in public administration and a bachelor of arts in history also earning a certification in business administration.
